Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at the Courtyard By Marriott Richmond Scott's Addition, I found myself thoroughly impressed by the modern flair infused into this near-new property. The location is exceptional, placing you within walking distance of over a dozen craft breweries and delightful restaurants, making it perfect for both leisurely travelers and those with a taste for local culture, much like myself. The spacious and impeccably clean room featured thoughtful amenities like motion-sensor lights, enhancing comfort and convenience during our weekend getaway. the quick drive to nearby attractions, such as the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and the historic Fan District, allowed us to immerse ourselves in Richmond's rich history, a detail that resonates with my love for historical narratives. While our experience was mostly positive, a friend had a minor hiccup with bookings, which did cast a fleeting shadow on an otherwise enjoyable stay.
